How the Telephone and PC are Connected

• Supplied with Retell's 157 recording connector
• Simple connection via handset & sound card port
• Compatible with most digital & analogue handsets
• You can play recordings down the telephone line from your soundcard
• Compatible with most handsets or headsets that plug in with the common RJ11

PC requirements:

• Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 or XP with at least a pentium 500 Mhz processor or similar. At least 128Mb RAM Sound card and speakers. At least 1Gb spare hard disk space.
• For storage of recordings we recommend network connection speeds of no less that 100Mbs. We recommend that the maximum number of users recording into the same folder does not exceed six and that the maximum default recordings folder be no greater than 3Gb in size. Retell always recommends that you backup and archive your recordings on a regular basis.
• We recommend installation of all Windows© critical updates on the computer that you wish to run Retell's call recording software on.

Optional Extras:

• DATA INTEGRATION LINC which enables you to get your own programme, for example, Access, CRM software, to control the 957 software. The most common use for this is for the automatic transfer of customer details from your database records into the notes and reference fields of the 957 software, so that you can search for a call by a customer name, or customer reference etc. You own programme can also start and stop recording, be notified that the 957 has made a recording successfully and many other parameters.
