957ADV and 957PRO
Note that the 957ADV and 957PRO products use the same software, it is the connector that joins that telephone to the PC that is different.

We currently provide updates to the software free of charge. If you do not have an unlocked version you can use the upgrade as a 60 day demo. If your software has already been unlocked you can download the latest version of the software to get a free upgrade.

For version 1.64

Right click the "Download" link below, and then select "save target as..."

Note that from version 1.62 on the software enables the control of the mixer from within the programme. It is possible to set up the software without this feature, for example with NT4. So to enable the "no mixer" failsafe setting follow these steps:

1 Go to the Start menu, select the Run command
2 Type in regedit then hit Return to run the Registry editor
3 Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, TRS, TelAr
4 Right click on TelAr, select the New submenu, select New String Value
5 Go to the right pane, type nomixer then hit Return
6 Right click on SmtpTimeout, select the Modify command
7 Type 1 in the Value edit box then click OK to save it
8 Exit Registry Editor
9 Restart the SCR

For version 1.61 if desired

Right click the "Download" link below, and then select "save target as..."

How to install the upgrade

Double click on the 957 icon in the system tray to bring the 957 software window up, click on the record tab, and click on the bottom left button marked "Deactivate" to stop the software running. There is no need to uninstall the previous version (DO NOT GO INTO CONTROL PANEL ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMMES), just install the software that you download into the same directory. All settings and recordings will be retained.

(Please note that there was an ultimate time out on 1st July 2003 on this software, but the version for download below has been updated on 25th July 2003.)

The data integration linc allows you to control the 957 telephone recording software from your own. The software that you can download from here is a tutorial showing how to set up the connection in Access, C++ and VB, along with the necessary dll. The dll should be installed in the same directory as the calling programme, not with the 957 software. Because there have been extra features added to 957 software and to the data integration linc, we suggest that you download the latest version of both from this page so that you can make sure that you have the latest features and compatibility.
